The double-cylinder automatic backwash filtration system consists of two sets of filters installed in parallel (with a dirty oil receiving tank optional) and an automatic control system. The filtration system is designed for continuous filtration conditions. When the system does not have a critical alarm, there is always one filter operating online, while the other filter is in standby or in the process of backwashing and cleaning.
The tube-type liquid automatic backwash filtration system consists of one or more filter circuits connected to the main pipeline with an inlet valve and an outlet valve. Each filter circuit is called "a row", and each row of filters consists of several filter units. The number of filter units in each column of filters and the total number of columns of backwash filters should be determined according to the required process characteristics, namely flow, flow rate, viscosity, average particle content in the medium and some other process parameters.
