On July 9, 2025, the after-sales support team of Beyond Petroleum arrived in Turkey to provide on-site installation and commissioning guidance services for the ZJ-50J oil drilling rigs purchased by Turkish customer.
The main task of this trip is to provide assembly and commissioning services for the ZJ50J large supporting drilling rig for Turkish customers. The service team consists of two employees of Beyond and three engineers from the supplier. The three engineers are good at and responsible for different areas of work. One is responsible for well site circuits, one is good at mechanical operation, and one is good at oil, water and gas control. The Beyond personnel are responsible for process coordination and overall planning.
The estimated time for this installation and commissioning service is 20 days, with the aim of completing the final assembly and commissioning of the drilling rig, allowing customers to smoothly start drilling.
This ZJ50J drilling rig is the first skid mounted drilling rig exported by Beyond and it's an important milestone in the development of Beyond Petroleum. Since the first contact with the client in July 2024, the company's main business personnel have established a dedicated project team to coordinate the client's needs. After many times of technical problem communication, field visits and equipment inspection, the purchase contract was finally signed in February 2025, and the rig configuration was rectified according to the customer's requirements. The rig was sent to Türkiye in May and arrived at Türkiye's Iskenderun Port on June 16.
The drilling rig project took nearly a year from initial contact to installation and commissioning, which was inseparable from the close contact and cooperation between the customer and Beyond. The experience of this rig delivery will also become a valuable asset on the road of Beyond Petro's development. We hope that the Beyond team can serve future drilling rig project customers with more professional knowledge and a more rigorous attitude.
