From August 29th to September 10th, Beyond Petroleum BOSS Alex led relevant business and factory technicians to carry out the installation and commissioning of the SCR room at the Indonesian customer's well site. After overcoming numerous difficulties, they finally successfully completed the installation service.

The SCR room project was delivered to Indonesia in mid-July. After arriving at the well site as agreed with the customer, we arranged for personnel to assist with installation and commissioning. However, good things come with a wait, and we encountered some unexpected issues during the on-site service process.

First, due to long-distance transportation, the AC module and a Siemens display in the SCR room were no longer functioning properly. Furthermore, due to changes in the customer's wellsite layout, the outlet compartment also needed to be renovated, requiring parts not available on-site.

How could this problem be solved? Procuring them immediately would have taken a long time, temporarily disrupting the equipment and affecting the customer's normal operations. So, the Beyond team acted decisively, identifying the required parts, contacting the domestic office to book the earliest available flight, and physically transporting the goods to Indonesia overnight.

After over a day of traveling by land and air, we finally delivered the necessary parts to the well site in record time.

 

After successful installation, we faced another commissioning issue: the SCR chamber was operating unstably. After on-site technical troubleshooting, we determined that the problem was with the customer's engine unit. Finally, a Caterpillar technician performed a test kit repair, successfully resolving the issue.

Finally, with the collaborative efforts of the Beyond team and the customer, the SCR chamber installation and commissioning were finally completed, and it officially began operation!
