The instruction of rotary drilling rig

 

Rotary drilling rig is a construction machinery suitable for drilling operations in building foundation engineering. It is mainly suitable for the construction of soil layers such as sandy soil, cohesive soil, and silty soil, and has been widely used in various foundation construction such as cast-in-place piles, continuous walls, and foundation reinforcement. The rated power of rotary drilling rigs is generally 125-450kW, the power output torque is 120-400kN · m, the maximum borehole diameter can reach 1.5-4m, and the maximum borehole depth is 60-90m, which can meet the requirements of various large-scale foundation construction.

Rotary drilling rigs generally use hydraulic track type telescopic chassis, self elevating foldable drilling mast, telescopic drill rod, with automatic verticality detection and adjustment, hole depth digital display, etc. The whole machine operation generally adopts hydraulic pilot control and load sensing, with the characteristics of easy operation and comfort. The main and auxiliary winches are suitable for various situations on construction sites.

The rotary drilling rig, combined with different drilling tools, is suitable for drilling operations in dry (short spiral) or wet (rotary bucket) and rock formations (rock core drill). It can also be equipped with long spiral drills, underground continuous wall grab buckets, vibrating pile hammers, etc., to achieve various functions. It is mainly used in municipal construction, highway bridges, industrial and civil buildings, underground continuous walls, water conservancy, anti-seepage slope protection and other foundation construction.

The principle of choosing a rotary drilling rig should be to meet the main engineering needs of users while taking into account possible engineering requirements. Rotary drilling rigs can be classified into three types based on their main working parameters: torque, engine power, drilling diameter, drilling depth, and overall quality of the rig:

 

Mini machine: torque 100kN · m. The engine power is 170kW, the drilling diameter is 0.5-1m, the drilling depth is about 40m, and the total weight of the drilling rig is about 40t.

(1) Slope protection piles for various buildings;

(2) Partial load-bearing structural piles of the building;

(3) Various piles with a diameter less than 1m for urban renovation and municipal projects;

(4) Suitable for piles used for other purposes.

 

 

Medium sized machine: torque of 180kN · m, engine power of 200kW, drilling diameter of 0.8-1.8m, drilling depth of about 60m, total weight of the drilling rig is about 65t.

(1) Bridge piles for various transportation facilities such as highways and railways;

(2) Large buildings, load-bearing structural piles for ports and docks;

(3) Elevated bridge piers within the city;

(4) Other applicable piles.

 

Large scale machine: torque 240kN · m, engine power 300kW, drilling diameter 1-2.5m, drilling depth 80m. The total weight of the drilling machine is 100t

above.

(1) Extra large bridge piles for various highways and railway bridges;

(2) Special structural load-bearing foundation piles for other large buildings.
